In this square there was a well from which the village was supplied for personal grooming. It is currently a meeting point for neighbors, where many of the festivities are held in the town such as the San Antón’s bonfire.
The Marquise fountain is a replica of the one that was in the village behind the Marquises house (in front of the current Town Hall), which was intended to supply people with water. Also called “source of the 24 jets”, probably commanded to build by the third Marquise of Navarrés and fifth Countess of Almenara Lady Magdalena de Borja (1591-1597)
