It is undoubtedly the most traditional and beloved festival by the residents of the municipality. Declared a Local Tourist Interest Festival in the Valencian Community in 2012. It has its origins in 1695, five years before an epidemic devastated the town, leaving only the García Family alive. This family provided shelter and food to all those who came to the town for its repopulation. In commemoration of this repopulation, this festival is celebrated. It takes place on the second weekend of February and includes activities such as a medieval market, local gastronomic tastings, distribution of paella and bread for all attendees, and artisan workshops. For several years, there has also been a historical reenactment of the origins of this festival by the local theater group, with the collaboration of other associations and volunteers from the town. During the “La Reserva” weekend, Quesa’s population can triple due to the influx of visitors, many of whom are family and friends. In recent years, the number of visitors has been considered to exceed 2000 people throughout the festive weekend.
