La Fuente de Chella Park, located at the foot of the town, is next to the course of the River Sellent, whose aquifer nourishes the roots of plane trees (Platanus hispanica) planted in 1884, which lend their name to the spring. The remodelling carried out at that time left the fountain wedged between three stairways that descend down to it, with a façade of crudely worked grey stone. The fountain is also known as the fountain of the three jets, “de los Tres Chorros”, due to its three bronze spouts, which appear to be heads of griffins or mythological animals. Close to the park is a beautiful open wash house with limestone slabs and a relatively wide pool. The little bridge located next to the wash house serves as the starting point for exploring paths that will lead you to discover the fountains and beauty spots in the area. Departing from here it is also possible to visit the famous Salto de Chella waterfall.
